Hawker Hunter 32002 Twin seater 14 options all 3 A5 sheets available separately
This latest sheet from Fantasy Printshop moves to the 1/32 Two Seat Hunters. These are the variants that lasted the longest in service being used as either hacks or proficiency trainers with Buccaneer squadrons. While there is no dedicated injection molded kit of the two seat Hunter (unless something snuck by me), there are conversions out there to allow you to make a very nice two seater using the Revell kit. Note also that the T.7 and variants had the later tail section with the parabrake.
There are three sheets in the set and for those who wish it, the roundels sheet is available separately for £5.95 and the serials sheet for £3.95. This is a great offer for those with the shelf space to build multiples from this sheet.
Five of the options are in the early trainer scheme of high speed silver with yellow bands on the wing and fuselage. For these we have a 1 Squadron plane from the late 1960s, 43 Squadron from 1959, 54 Squadron from 1960, 56 Squadron from 1960 and 66 Squadron from 1960. Note that the wing tip checks for the 56 and 43 Squadron planes are not included on the decal sheets.
In the later trainer scheme of red, white and grey, we have two planes. One from 216 Squadron in 1980 and the other from 237 OCU in 1983.
In the camouflage scheme of dark green, dark sea grey over light aircraft grey there are three options. One with 8 Squadron in 1967 and another with 1417 Flight in the same year. The third option has the upper spine and fin in white and is from 4 FTS in 1983. This one also has white outer wing panels.
Then we have a pair in the wraparound camouflage scheme. The first is from 12 Squadron in the early 1980s and the other is from 237 OCU in 1987.
Finally, a pair from the Da-Glo era. This color was in thin strips on various parts of the airframe as well as bands on the wings and will need to be painted on. The first is an overall light aircraft grey plane with the Wattisham station flight in the 1970s, while the second is in high speed silver with 4 Squadron, also in the 1970s.
